Neck Laceration Protectors:
These are now mandatory for all players in games and practices, as well as for on-ice officials under 18.
HECC Certification:
All neck protectors must be HECC certified, though BNQ-certified protectors are permitted for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons.
Gameplay Changes
Icing the Puck:

In the 15O/16U and above age classifications, teams are allowed to ice the puck while shorthanded.
Delayed Offside:

Teams in the 15O/16U and above classifications are permitted to use delayed offside.
Icing Penalties:

A two-minute bench minor will be assessed if a team challenges a player not wearing a mouthpiece and the challenge is verified by an official.
Kneeing Penalty:

A kneeing penalty now carries a mandatory misconduct.
